Apart from Tourism sector, government has taken various initiatives in the industries of Sugarcane, ICT, Textile, Financial, Business and Seafood.</p>
<p>The top sectors in Mauritius like Telecommunication, Fuels, Cements, Textile, Tourism and Banking has given great attraction to FDI in this country.</p>

<p>It’s current project portfolio includes the on-going Plaines Wilhelm’s Sewerage Project.</p>
<p><strong> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Stage I</span></strong>- Accounting for 23.3% of net commitments. The objective of the project is to ensure environmental sustainability by averting and reversing the potential for environmental degradation of surface and groundwater resources.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Stage II</span></strong>- The Bank is currently financing the Mauritius Waste Water Master plan Study targeting the 2010-2033 planning horizon.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Stage III</span></strong>- In line with the Bank’s 2008-2012 Medium Term Strategy and the Mauritius Medium Term Development Framework Policy, it is anticipated that the Bank will continue to be a key development partner in the Mauritius water and sanitation sector.</p>
