The Hodgman Liberal Government is getting on with providing the biggest ever commitment to education infrastructure in Tasmanias history.
Three Tasmanian schools are set to benefit from nearly $6 million in upgrades to learning environments as a result of construction projects advertised for tender today.
The construction tenders are:
Taroona High School: Major redevelopment to provide new contemporary learning areas, support spaces and music and drama facilities.
Port Dalrymple School: Redevelopment to provide additional general learning area, breakout space, resource and staff area and amenities.
Mowbray Heights Primary School: Kindergarten refurbishment including additional toilets.
These capital projects will also drive economic growth and create jobs in those communities.
