With the intention to develop and launch a range of new social slots the Gala Coral has decided a strategic partnership with San Francisco-based mobile and social games developer Ruby Seven Studios.
The partnership will observe Coral and Ruby Seven make new social slots under the Coral brand, with a outlook to create a network of social gaming customers and followers for the operator’s gaming brands.
The first product to be introduced through the partnership will observe popular land-based titles The Magician and The Magician Triple Pots presented as free-to-play products alongside Wild Magic, the latest slot to be introduced by Coral, and a selection of other titles.
The deal is intended to unite Coral’s land-based and online gaming experience with Ruby Seven’s mobile and social expertise.
Coral E-gaming director Mark Kemp stated that Ruby Seven’s international social gaming experience and existing customer publishing base would allow the operator to successfully enter the social casino market.
Kemp added, "Coral now has a strong library and development pipeline of slots and other gaming content to provide customers with our games across all channels including social gaming".
Ruby Seven chief executive Michael Carpenter said that he was excited to be working alongside Coral, especially its slots and games development teams.
Carpenter said, "We look forward to collaborating to bring a fun and engaging free-to-play slots experience to mobile and Facebook platforms".
Ruby Seven has previously formed partnerships in the online gaming industry, approving a deal with gaming device manufacturer Grand Vision Gaming to develop free-to-play versions of its real-money land-based products. The deal followed an agreement with Bluhare Studios to introduce TimeQuest slots for iOS, Android, Amazon Kindle and Facebook Canvas.
The studio moreover gained a $3.5m investment from Chicago-based casino operator Rush Street Gaming, with the deal finalised in January this year.
