The Kerala State Cooperative Rubber Marketing Federation has announced that it will purchase 5,000 tonnes of rubber in the first phase.
Speaking at a press conference here on Friday, federation office-bearers said that the procurement would be based on the price stabilization project of the government.
The procurement will be made through the federation's members like rubber marketing groups, purchase branches, and other cooperative groupings.
They said that the federation seeks to promote organic manure by launching its Rubbermark Bharath Jaiva (gold).
