United States : BendPak, VSG win contract bids from NASPO ValuePoint cooperative procurement program

Published 24 Feb 2017

BendPak and Vehicle Service Group (VSG) have secured their contract bids from the National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) ValuePoint cooperative procurement program.

The program was earlier called WSCA-NASPO. Master Contract No. 05316 for Vehicle Lifts and Garage Associated Equipment will see the vendors supplying a range of fleet maintenance equipment.
Winning bids were received from a total of six contractors.

BendPak will supply municipalities and government purchasers two-post lifts, four-post lifts, mobile column lifts, scissors lifts, wheel balancers, tire changers and brake lathes through central purchasing offices in each of the 50 states, including the District of Columbia and other U.S. territories.

VSG's range of vehicle lifting equipment brands which include Rotary, Forward and Revolution, are offered under the contract, as well as other garage equipment like Rotary tire changers, wheel balancers and alignment systems.

The NASPO ValuePoint Cooperative Purchasing program fulfills state requirements for competitively bid products. Many states are already purchasing through a NASPO ValuePoint procurement program.

State agencies, education institutions, local authorities and municipalities can leverage their spending, without going through a bid solicitation. NASPO ValuePoint secures competitive pricing from its suppliers/vendors.
